CivilDusk is built to collect nothing.
Nothing. No account, no sign-in, no analytics or tracking, and no server. The only networking is the optional Smart Lights feature, which sends light commands to a bulb on your own Wi-Fi — never your information, and never to any cloud.
With your permission, CivilDusk reads sleep data from Apple Health (read-only) on your device, to show a summary and an optional reaction-time chart. It is never transmitted anywhere and never written. Revoke anytime in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health.
If you pair a light (e.g. LIFX or HomeKit), CivilDusk talks to it over your local Wi-Fi / Apple HomeKit. It uses no third-party account, no cloud, and no internet for this — nothing about you is transmitted.
Timers, your wake time, and reaction checks stay in local storage on your device. Deleting the app removes them. There is no cloud copy.
CivilDusk provides general wellbeing and timing information based on circadian-rhythm research. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition; its estimates are educational, not measurements. Talk to a healthcare provider about any sleep concerns.
